THE IMPORTANCE OF DRAGONFLIES TO THE ENVIRONMENT
Dragonflies are an ancient family of insects. They have been around for 300 million years. Dragonflies inhabit slow-moving fresh water that has no fish. They have been helping diminish diseases spread by mosquitoes, horseflies, and deer flies by preying on them.  This helps the environment because it allows humans to reduce the use of pesticides to kill these insects and reduce diseases as malaria, yellow fever, dog heart-worms, anthrax, and tularemia.  Dragonflies are harmless to humans and also serve as a source of protein, which is a significant component to solving global food distribution problems.
Benefits of Window Ponds:
    -  With the involvement of water as a shading system, creates windows that are beyond just ventilation.
    -  The flexibility of removing all ugly metal meshes that help avoid bugs.
    -  Diminish all harmful insects from coming inside.
    -  Take advantage of the source of protein that doesn't require intensive resources to produce.  This design acquires tubes that capture dragonflies to the interior to cook them.
